The Hosepro Classic at Blackwater Speedway

The Hosepro Classic is an annual event at Blackwater Speedway, showcasing the best Super Sedan drivers in Queensland (including Craig Torr). The event was scheduled for March in 2012, but due to extreme rain for the weeks leading up to the event, it had to be postponed.

The good news is that it was rescheduled for Saturday the 9th June. The Hosepro Classic also featured support classes of V8 AMCA's and Sprintcars... So it was a jam packed night of racing!

Whether you're a racing enthusiast or simply want a good night out which is suitable for the whole family, the Hosepro Classic ticked all the boxes.

This year the Hosepro Classic was the final round of the Super Sedan Series, with Matt Pascoe taking out the event & the series. The feature race had 11 cars start & only 3 finish due to damages, which unfortunately included Craig Torr. It was great to see Craig racing locally & do so well in the heats… We were all very proud of him!

This year we also did a fundraising raffle which raised $800 for the Special Education Unit at North State School in Blackwater. Thanks to everyone who supported this... It will go a long way for this very worthwhile community group.
